Princess Anne Inyang is one of Nigeria ’s versatile songwriters and vocalist who loves to praise and worship God. She has been in music industry for about two decades
Princess Anne started out as a jazz artiste from her teens, which later revolved into her singing in the choir after she gave her life to Christ. She subsequently became the music director in of one of the largest choirs in Nigeria known as Evangel Voices. She went solo with the release of her debut album ALL THE WAY WITH JESUS (AKANAM NKWE) while still working in the Bank in 1996. Eventually, she left Banking to face music squarely.
Princess Anne is the first female music director of TREM who introduced a lot of creativity into song writing and performance. She wrote most of TREM convention theme songs including HOLY HABITATION, PURE FIRE, LET YOUR GLORY FALL, FULLY COMMITTED, POWER IN THE WORD, to mention a few, She is also the author and originator of some popular songs we sing like YOU ARE WORTHY LORD, THINGS ARE GETTING BETTER, GOD CANNOT LIE, and of course the Evergreen Efik song AKANAM NKWE. She’s the first Akwa Ibom artiste whose song is sung all over the world. She’s a passionate worshiper who does not compromise standards.
She has featured in many concerts and events within and outside the country including the annual Calabar Christmas Carnival, JAM Mega Fest, Jubilee Word Celebration, Kingdom Life Music Festival, Shiloh, Azusa, Rivers State First Lady’s Women Mobilization Program, Reinhard Bonnke’s Crusade, Benny Hinn’s Crusades, First Lady’s Visit to AKS, South Africa’s Great Music Festivals, Corporate Events, Black History Month Festival in the USA and many international events.
A multiple award winner, she’s currently being nominated for the National Gospel Awards. Princess Anne recently concluded a musical tour of 6 States in the U.S including Hawaii and is billed to perform at the Africa Day in London scheduled for 6th August and AKS Convention in Miami on August 15.
Apart from music, she is a seasoned Actress and TV Presenter
